Iska Personalized Community Centre Program

The Iska program offers wraparound services for one identified client. The program is in the community and has been constructed to meet the specific needs of one client.

The objectives are to support the client in a successful transition into the community from an intensive live-in treatment program. Iska provides opportunities for skill development, cultural engagement, family connection, and emotional regulation to help improve functioning and help prepare the client for adulthood.

Iska is a Plains Cree word, that means “it seems (through dream or magic)”. Wood’s Homes believes this meaning reflects both the dreams of our client for a better future as well as the magic they possess to make it a reality.

The program is funded by Children’s Services and is not available for referral.
