Programs

Wood’s Homes’ EXPLORE classroom provides personalized day treatment programming in partnership with the Calgary Board of Education. The team consists of one full-time teacher and seven Wood’s Homes School Support Counsellors. Four of these School Support Counsellors are dedicated to 1-1 with students connected to Children’s Services. The School Support Counsellors work closely with the teacher to develop plans for community-based learning opportunities and to provide instruction that supports students to thrive independently at home, in the community, and in the workplace.
