Self-Referral Programs

Wood’s Homes offers easily accessible mental health programs and services for youth, adults and families. You are not alone and there is support available for you.

The following self-referral programs and services are open to the community without requiring a referral by a health care professional, service or agency.

 

Private Counselling

Elbow Springs Counselling is a private counselling service offering evidence-based support to children, adults and families. This new service supports a variety of concerns without lengthy waitlists.

Eastside Community Mental Health Services

Eastside Community Mental Health Services (ECMHS) is a place you can rely on when you have troubles at home or need someone to talk to. We are here to listen and help.

Inglewood Opportunity Hub

 

The Inglewood Opportunity Hub (The ‘Hub’) is a one-stop shop for vulnerable youth. It provides a combination of services in one location, removing the barriers of having to navigate complex systems in a number of different locations.

Youth Connections: The Core

 

A safe place for homeless or at-risk youth in crisis. Food, clothing, a warm bed, and counselling and referrals are all available.

Stepping Stones Youth Services

 

A safe place for young people in Fort McMurray to stay, and for parents and caregivers to get support.  

Community Stabilization


A short-term placement that provides 24/7 therapeutic crisis service for youth, as well as a safe place for those experiencing homelessness, family crisis, placement breakdown or require temporary housing.

Youth Support Navigators

Our Youth Support Navigators connect youth with the right support at the right time to help them manage challenges big or small, access community services and supports, and enhance their connection to culture and the community in order to live a healthy lifestyle.
