How You Can Help

Other Ways To Give

Securities

There is no tax on the capital gain of publicly traded securities if they are donated before being sold by a charity. For more information please contact foundation@woodshomes.ca, or click here if you are ready to complete our easy-to-use online Transfer of Securities form.

LEGACY AND ESTATE GIFTS

A gift in your will ensures those who need help in the future will not be left behind. In many cases, a charitable donation will reduce the taxes on your estate which means there is little or no impact on what can be passed on to your loved ones.  For more information click here

Tribute and Honorarium Gifts

When you make a donation on behalf of, or in memory of a friend or loved one, you are giving twice. First, to the person you are honouring with your gift and again, to the children and youth in Wood’s Homes' care. At your request, we will send a notification in recognition of your gift. The amount of your donation will not be disclosed and you will receive a charitable tax receipt. Your gift can be made online or by calling the Wood's Homes Foundation at 403-270-1718.
