Support for Fort McMurray evacuees
We welcome evacuees arriving here from Fort McMurray who feel they need to speak with someone about the devastating wildfire to call our Community Resource Team at 1-800-563-6106. Texting, LiveChat and e-therapy are available as well.
Our Eastside Family Centre, located at #255, 495 36 St. N.E., is available for free, walk-in counselling services. Click here for hours.
Wood’s Homes is providing counselling support to all evacuees who have arrived or will be arriving at SAIT, the University of Calgary and Ambrose University Reception Centres.

Our crisis and counselling programs offer community-based services to families and children in need.
In-home family support services provide culturally-sensitive services to children, youth and families in their home, school and community settings.
Street Services offers a range of services for homeless and at-risk youth in Calgary, Lethbridge, Fort McMurray and Fort Smith
These programs provide a range of support and treatment services for residents with complex and varied histories and unique physical, mental and/or behavioural needs.
Next Steps: Transitional Services programs help young people transition into the 'next steps' of adulthood.
Family Support Network Calgary and Family Connections Lethbridge are innovative pilot programs developing outcomes-based approaches to child and family intervention.
