Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) Support Program

Wood’s Homes newest program, the FASD Support Program, includes two mentors, one focusing on the support and education for the whole family and the other focusing on the support individual caregivers require.

Make sure to look for Wood’s Homes at the 2017 National Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Conference in Calgary, AB on Oct. 24-27.


20th Anniversary Never Give Up Gala

We’re looking forward to welcoming our guests to the sold out 20th Anniversary Never Give Up Gala on September 30! Guests will hear from two of our Street Services clients and how new supportive housing will help homeless and at-risk youth through the New Horizon program.


Wood's Homes Research Chair in Children's Mental Health

Angelique Jenney, PhD, RSW, was named as the new Wood’s Homes Research Chair in Children’s Mental Health at a gathering of community supporters on May 19. The Chair is a unique collaboration between our agency and the University of Calgary Faculty of Social Work. Jenney will divide her time between the university and Wood’s Homes in an innovative approach to directly applying theory to practice.
