Wood's Homes has worked with at-risk and homeless young people for many years. Back in 1990, our agency recognized a gap in services for this population, and so began our EXIT Youth Shelter. Since then, thousands of homeless young people have come through the doors to find temporary shelter, food, clothing, counselling and referrals.
Today, Wood’s Homes operates three of Alberta’s 10 Youth Shelters – in Calgary, Lethbridge and Fort McMurray. In certain locations we also provide community and mobile outreach services to complement our street level programs.
