Administrative Support Clerk I or II

Wood’s Homes is a multi-service, non-profit children’s mental health centre based in Calgary. Our over 550 staff and volunteers help provide 35 programs and services for 28,000 children and their families each year in Calgary, Lethbridge, Canmore, Strathmore, Fort McMurray and Fort Smith, N.W.T.

Wood’s Homes is seeking an Administrative Support Clerk I or II for our Lethbridge Programs.  In partnership with Children’s Services, the programs operating in our Lethbridge site are:

Family Connections: A family support program based on Collaborative Service Delivery and the Signs of Safety approach. This position has primary responsibility for the oversight of this program.

Lethbridge Youth Connections: an eight bed facility, Walk-in Resource Centre and Housing First service supported by a Supervisor.

Funds Development: a community awareness and funds development initiative.

This position reports to the Program Manager of Lethbridge Programs.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provides back up and support for the Lethbridge Programs and other administrative support as required.
  • Facilitates room bookings for both internal and external groups, coordinates food orders, parking requirements and IT support as needed.
  • Performs general clerical duties as assigned.
  • Files correspondence and various other papers according to established procedures.
  • Performs reception/switchboard duties as assigned.
  • Photocopies documents as required.
  • Assists with updating and maintaining organization database.
  • Performs other related work as may be assigned.


  • Senior matriculation, with secretarial experience and a high level of organizational and computer application skills.
  • 2–5 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Personal suitability
